From the 22nd of July to 3rd of August, the Argentinean Chamber of Compressed Natural Gas (CAGNC, as in its Spanish acronym) will be present in the “Rural Exposition”, which takes place in the Palermo’s fair, in order to offer coupons to attendees interested in participating in the raffles. The “Bravo Continental” radio program broadcasts from the exhibition complex every day, thus increasing opportunities for more people to participate in a full team of CNG, which will be free as well as installation.
So far this year, Argentina has experienced a significant upturn in the vehicles conversion to natural gas system, with approximately 10,000 units converted per month. In addition to the promotional campaign leaded by the CAGNC, another reason that boosts the acceleration of CNG kits installations is connected with the savings for NGVs, which recently reached the all-time high record of 73% this year, compared to liquid fuels.
Moreover, high-end vehicles conversions to CNG continue growing. In the city of Buenos Aires the demand increased over 100 percent during 2010, with an average of 1,000 units of this type converted per month. The same trend is repeated in different regions of the country, such as Mendoza and Santiago del Estero provinces.
