LA Metro Board approved a 10-year CNG station operation and maintenance contract with Clean Energy for four of LA Metro’s bus fueling facilities. With this award, the company will continue to operate and maintain all of the Agency’s ten stations as well as an 11th site currently under construction.
Moreover, Fox Transportation signed Clean Energy’s largest single order and deployment of medium-duty CNG trucks for delivery services in the United States. The logistics company plans to roll out 100 NGVs over the next several months that will fuel at Clean Energy stations throughout Southern California. Once fully deployed, the fleet is expected to consume approximately 600,000 diesel-gallons-equivalent of CNG fuel per year.
Finally, the fuel agreement with NG Advantage is the first of its kind as it will bring natural gas to manufacturing and other energy-intensive customers not on a pipeline throughout New England and Eastern New York. It includes the construction of a new compression facility in central New Hampshire, which is intended to provide a minimum of 10-million gasoline-gallons-equivalent of CNG per year.
