Moreover, City of Monterey Park (Los Angeles County) will receive $300,000 to upgrade the city’s CNG fueling station, used for the public, the city’s transit system, and public works vehicles. Monterey Park will contribute $475,634 in matching funds for this project.
Finally, West Coast Bus Sales, Inc., in Oakland (Alameda County), will receive a total of $680,000 in buy-down incentives. Of that, $600,000 is reserved for the buy-down of 30 NGVs of 14,001 to 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, and $80,000 is reserved for the buy-down of 10 NGVs of 8,501 to 14,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.
