Natural gas vehicles equipped with Quantum’s storage systems help to lower ownership and operational costs, while truly benefiting from the historically low prices of this domestically produced fuel. NGVs can be fueled for a third less cost than other vehicles, and emit less smog-forming nitrogen oxide and particulates.
It is worth mentioning that Quantum recently received a $3.8 million purchase order for its ultra-lightweight carbon composite CNG storage tanks, which are to be used for a pickup truck platform designed for high volume and light duty.
