As reported by Business Journal, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife will get the bulk of the CNG vehicles, a total of 30 Ford pickups. They will be deployed at state parks, for use by park managers and wildlife officers, along the Interstate 70 and I-25 corridors, according to Mike King, executive director of the Department of Natural Resources.
The other state agencies that will receive the NGVs are: the Department of Public Safety (2), the Department of Corrections (18), the Department of Higher Education (1), the Department of Human Services (11), the Department of Labor and Employment (1), the Department of Revenue (7), Department of Transportation (5), the Governor’s Office (1), and the Department of Personnel and Administration (4).
The multi-state effort also encouraged the addition of 242 Ram CNG pickups to the state of Oklahoma. The delivery of vehicles, which will be used by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, began in March.
