“Anyone interested in learning about how natural gas vehicles and fueling stations work, and why investing in CNG or bi-fuel vehicles delivers a strong return on investment, should plan to attend the whole tour, or whatever stops fit their schedule,” said Mike Ogburn, Energy Engineer with CLEER, a sponsor of the tour.
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority’s Glenwood Springs Maintenance Facility servicing the new CNG-powered buses for RFTA’s bus rapid transit system will be the fourth stop on the Rolling Tour, which is expected to end with a networking reception at the new Berthod Motors Dodge dealership in Glenwood Springs. There, participants will tour Western Slope’s first CNG-capable vehicle service bay open to the public and see Dodge and GMC NGVs.
