The blue-colored natural gas vehicle will shuttle passengers to and from the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, and is expected to make six to eight trips a week, reported Sun Gazette. However, the Genetti Hotel and Suites has been taking four trips daily due to many guests, who are attending the Little League World Series in South Williamsport.
Genetti’s van will fuel at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s own distribution point, until River Valley Transit completes its commercial and public CNG fueling station at its garage, 1500 W. Third St, with state and federal transportation grants.
“Other commercial fleets that run on natural gas, including those in the county and perhaps in the future school districts, might be users of the facility,” said William E. Nichols, general manager of River Valley Transit. “Genetti has been a proponent of using the fuel since its inception and became a corporate partner in our compressed natural gas focus group.”
