The fleet conversion is the next step in Golden Eagle’s strategic plan to convert all its diesel vehicles to natural gas. The project began last December when the Tucson fleet introduced 24 NGVs. To fuel these trucks, a CNG fueling site is under construction at Golden Eagle’s headquarters property in Tucson and will open to public this month.
“Golden Eagle is proud to be part of the Casa Grande Community and we are committed to developing business solutions that generate a positive impact on our environment,” explained Christopher Clements, CEO of Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. “CNG is a viable business solution for our fleet; creating cost savings while protecting our environment. We hope that through our use of NGVs and creation of more fueling infrastructure, other local businesses will consider this fuel for their fleet.”
