Abruzzo also announced that the second round of Act 13 Natural Gas Vehicle grants opened on Saturday, Nov. 9, providing an estimated $11 million to help pay for the incremental purchase and conversion costs of heavy-duty natural gas fleet vehicles weighing more than 14,000 pounds.
The recipients that will be able to introduce natural gas vehicles to their fleets are: U.S. Steel Corporation, CWM Environmental, Consolidated Resource, Bradford County Commissioners and Partners, Cranberry Taxi, SWEPI, L.P., Centre County Commissioners and Partners, Redbank Chevrolet Partners, Francis J. Palo Partners, Clearfield County Area Agency, Pennsylvania American Water Company, Keystone Quality Transport, Delaware Express Shuttle, L.T. Verrastro, Inc., City of Lancaster, King Limousine Service, VNG Company and Partners, Asplundh Tree Expert Company, Philadelphia Gas Works, Aqua Pennsylvania Inc., Shipley Energy Company, and Utztran Quality Foods.
