This addition to the hotel’s convenient Atlanta airport shuttle service is part of its participation in the Clean Cities Atlanta Petroleum Reduction Program, which received a grant from the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory in 2009 as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The Clean Cities Atlanta Petroleum Reduction Program is designed to increase the use of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles in Metro Atlanta as a means of reducing U.S. dependence on imported petroleum, increasing fuel economy, reducing emissions and improving air quality.
