“A lot of people are really excited about the prospect of public CNG fueling,” said Maine Clean Communities Coordinator Steve Linnell. “ANG’s facility will provide an ideal location for businesses that are thinking of switching to natural gas. Along with transit, trash trucks are the optimum fleet vehicles for realizing a return on investment.”
The new filling station, which will serve Casella Waste, Westbrook and surrounding areas, will be located on County Road, and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Besides, it will be the first public station in the Westbrook-Portland region.
Founder and CEO of American Natural Gas Drew West stated: “We’re proud to be a part of this project and believe this facility will play a key role in opening up Maine for CNG use.”
