The fast fill station is 30,000 square feet in size and capable of fueling four vehicles simultaneously. Nopetro will support CNGas by contributing its fuel marketing and operational expertise and proven strategies to help grow third party sales at the stations. CNGas will provide bi-fuel and hybrid CNG vehicle conversions of existing commercial fleets for both companies.
“We are extremely proud of this new alliance and to bring this first-of-its-kind facility to Miami-Dade,” said CNGas COO Humberto Puppo. “I have no doubt that this station will be a key step towards furthering the volume of natural gas vehicles in our County.”
“While both of our companies are industry innovators,” added Jorge Herrera, CEO of Nopetro, “the clientele each one is pursuing complements each other since Nopetro is looking at large commercial fleets, such as public buses, garbage trucks and school buses, while CNGas’s market is small to medium-sized commercial vehicles. We look forward to working collectively with CNGas to service all NGVs, and ultimately develop a world-class network of fueling facilities for the County.”
