Among the achievements during this period, there is the opening of Clean Energy’s first refuse CNG station in Canada to fuel 58 garbage trucks for Emterra Environmental. Regarding the transit market, Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s fourth CNG station built by Clean Energy in Dallas has begun fueling 200 para-transit vehicles.
The company has been also working with airport shuttles and taxis. Clean Energy opened its first two public accessible CNG stations in Pennsylvania at the Philadelphia International Airport and in Bucks County, servicing shuttle vehicles. Besides, 125 CNG taxis were added in Chicago and New York City over the last three months.
Furthermore, Clean Energy completed construction of more LNG stations over the last three months than it did the previous 12 months. A total of 48 LNG stations have been completed to date and many are located at Pilot Flying J truck stops, Clean Energy’s partner.
