Energtek Inc., which develops and applies hi-tech natural gas mobile transportation solutions and Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology, announced that it has completed the 25-acre land purchase in Swanton, Vermont, to install a refueling station. Natural gas will be supplied by Vermont Gas.
“This site is in an ideal location for a station: 1) right on a transport pipeline; 2) elevated area on the pipeline (to minimize curtailments and pressure drops); 3) right next to an inter-state on-ramp; 4) with identified customers who cannot be served by anyone else and who are eagerly awaiting our deliveries; 5) right next to electricity sub-station for adequate secure power supply,” said Lev Zaidenberg, chairman of Energtek North Country Inc.
Moreover, almost all the necessary permits – Local zoning, State Public Service Board, State Land Use permit, State storm-water permit, State fire-marshal, water and wastewater permit, have been obtained.
“We have a signed gas supply agreement with Vermont Gas, which includes commitment by the latter to build the requisite Tap, meter, PRMS and associated facilities needed to actually hand over natural gas to the filling station. We have arranged the basic infrastructure for moving on with the project,” added Zaidenberg.
