“We are extremely pleased with the addition of this new engine series and look forward to our continued expansion of our partnership throughout the USA. Fleets across the country, using these conversion systems are already coming out of our fabrication and production facilities and CVS is spearheading the development of private and public fueling infrastructure,” said Dean Sloane, Managing Director of Clean Vehicle Solutions, LLC.
Conversions may be done on any of the Diesel DT 466 series engines model years 2005 – 2010. In addition, the partnership is also making available EPA-certified, CNG Dedicated Conversion for the Ford E-450 Super duty 6.8L V10 engine and the E350 Super Duty 5.4L gas engine. Models built up through 2007 are eligible for conversion.
Moreover, Sunny DeWakar, CEO of NGV Motori, USA, plans to introduce improved systems for more engines into the US market and expects the joint venture with Clean Vehicle Solutions to lead the industry in a full-spectrum of NGV services in the future. “In a rapidly developing vehicle marketplace, the relationships we develop up and down the CNG supply chain are critical to providing the customer with the very best solution possible,” he added.
