Mobile Fuel Solutions (MFS) is ready to deploy the first virtual pipeline system from the Argentina-based company to hit the United States roads, in New York area precisely. The novelty of this CNG transportation solution is the VST trailers, which include a MAT-B unit that operates as a compressor and a mobile pump.
Due to this technology, MFS will supply fuel to CNG powered fleets and industrial facilities, as a substitute for the absence of compressed natural gas refueling stations in the New York area.
The first of the two Galileo Technologies’ systems will come into operation in February with a second unit expected to be deployed over the first quarter. The trailer features two pods, each of them packed with horizontal CNG cylinders.
MAT Modules are transport by road from the compression and loading station to the different consumption destinations on trucks with VST trailers specifically designed for their safe transportation. Depending on the application, VST transport systems ® has a capacity for 2, 3 or 4 MAT modules, VST-2, VST-3 and VST-4 respectively, allowing at the same time different configurations according to the demand.
