The NatGasCar Conversion System was previously approved for use on engines in the Dodge Caravan, Dodge Ram, the Chrysler Avenger, and the Chrysler 200. “The EPA certification of the GM 4.8 and 6.0 liter engines enables us to diversify our product portfolio and provide wider market access to the patented NatGasCar CNG engine injection solution,” said Brad Trembath President of NatGasCar.
The primary market for these systems is high mileage commercial vehicle fleets that can benefit quickly from lower fuel and maintenance costs. The growing number of CNG fueling stations across the United States has boosted a more competitive environment for the Conversion System manufacturers.
The kits are currently available for order with delivery beginning in mid-December.
