The V5000HD system, which had undergone extensive testing and product improvement needed for Australian conditions prior to its commercial release, burns diesel and natural gas simultaneously, typically at an average 40-50 per cent diesel fuel substitution rate. Peak substitution can be much higher.

Moreover, all conversion hardware is mounted externally of the engine and does not interfere with the engine integrity or design. In turn, it is suitable for fitment onto a wide range of diesel commercial vehicle engines.

Launching of EVOL was attended by Victoria’s Minister for Regional Cities Denis Napthine. Initially, certified installers will be located in Perth and Melbourne.
