GreenKraft seeks dealers for CNG-dedicated trucks
Santa Ana-based manufacturer and distributor is searching for concessionaires throughout the state in order to offer its line of Class 3-7 compressed natural gas cab-forward trucks. Sales manager Frank Ziegler stated that the company already has a dozen of possible dealers.
The firm’s trucks are based on chassis built by Chinese company Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. (JAC). In California, GreenKraft installs 6.0-liter GM engines, uses regulators from ITT Conoflow, and injectors from Bosch. Ziegler added that it also installs CNG fuel cylinders according to customer specification.
It is worth mentioning that GreenKraft has secured California Air Resources Board Certification for the vehicles, which are eligible for buy-down incentives of up to USD 15,000, Fleets & Fuels News reported. California Environmental Engineering carries out emission testing and certification on Greenkraft’s products.
Greenkraft has obtained EPA certifications on different kits and is currently working on several EPA and CARB certifications.
