The company has purchased four CNG stations from Dallas, Texas-based Micro-Design, Inc. (MDi), who will be supplying GE-Gemini based compressor packages.

SGN has been very active in Dominican NGV business and anticipates building 10 more stations in 2012-2013. The firm currently holds permits for 10 stations and has applied for several more.

SGN’s goal is to be the leader in the compressed natural gas market across the country and has partnered up with MDi and GE to supply state-of-the-art CNG packages.

MDi has been in the CNG business for over 15 years and currently maintain and operate several natural gas facilities in the United States. It specializes in complete CNG solutions for small fleets, gas stations, etc. MDi is a CNG equipment supplier and an approved packager for GE Gemini and Bauer compressors.

The new compressor skids will contain the Levelcon telemetric controls. MDi also supplies storage vessels, valve panels, dispensers and controls for CNG. Please visit the company’s website for more details.
