In addition to these public fueling stations, CNG Net manages seven facilities on a customized basis for haulage companies which use green gas. As an example, this firm and Attero work together to enable local authorities to power vehicles with their own municipal kitchen, garden and residual waste, from which Attero produces biomethane. CNG Net then supplies this locally as sustainable fuel for mobility.

In order to improve air quality, Ballast Nedam aims to increase the number of CNG vehicles in its car fleet by 5% in 2012. The number of NGVs rose to 27% (559 vehicles) of company's fleet in the first half of the year. At the end of 2011, the figure had reached 23% (458 vehicles).
