Aena Aeropuertos received the final plan last month and Dragados SA is expected to begin the construction, which may last eight months, in the coming weeks. This fueling facility will provide natural gas to vehicle fleet operating within the country’s main airport terminal, and will represent significant savings in operating costs and a strong reduction of pollutant emissions from these vehicles.

Mayor of Murcia Miguel Ángel Cámara and Gas Natural Fenosa director of Mobility Solutions José Ramón Freire this morning led the opening of the new supply point located in Era Alta, as part of the cooperation protocol signed last year to promote and spread the use of natural gas as an automotive fuel.

The alliance will allow the number of refueling points to grow from 48 to 64 and, as a consequence, nearly 125,000 vehicles running around Bogotá will a have greater availability of fuel. Yesterday, during the presentation of the agreement between the companies last mentioned, Minister Mauricio Cárdenas said: "We have enough natural gas to put more natural gas vehicles on the road. Besides, by replacing gasoline or diesel, we are contributing not only to the user's savings but to the environment protection.”

Soluciones en Gas Natural S.A. (SGN) has just ordered two new filling points for the two main Shopping Centers of Plaza Lama in Santo Domingo. These will become their largest fueling facilities, serving 16 vehicles simultaneously with average fills of 3-4 minutes.

As part of the Workshop “LNG, dual fuel and dedicated technologies for heavy vehicles”, leading NGV-related companies revealed today new plans to develop filling infrastructure in countries including Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany and Russia. In order to follow and promote government’s energy grid change, the local association of CNG distributors (APCNG) announced last week that its members would spend approximately US$315 million to install that amount of refueling points within the next three years. “This will help the country save 90 million liters of fuel per month,” president of the chamber Danny Praditya stated.

Agira, a company dedicated to produce technological solutions applied to the natural gas compression, partnered with Gas Natural Urupan (GNU) to build the first natural gas filling point located in the capital city of the Mexican state of Michoacán de Ocampo. The fuel that supplies the two pumps comes from PEMEX distribution network, whereas the Argentinean firm has installed a 600 cubic meter Knox Western compressor to complete the provision process.
