    Tata Motors unveils newly upgraded and enhanced vehicles including CNG range

    The automobile manufacturer today announced Horizonext, a customer-focused strategy for its passenger segment business, consisting of eight new simultaneous launches, across five brands. In particular, the NGV portfolio showcased includes natural gas powered versions (called emax) of Indica, Indigo and Nano models. Select variants will be phased in the next 90 days.

    The CNG option of the Nano is expected to be launched later this year (October-November, as reported by media). Frito-Lay announces plans to build 7-station network for natural gas trucks
PepsiCo’s company has just opened a CNG station in Beloit, Wisconsin, which is part of its large-scale commitment to alternative fuels. In 2013, the company will break ground on seven public fueling stations across the U.S. and continue to grow its NGV fleet, bringing the total number of its CNG tractors to 208. Once deployed, these trucks will make up 20 percent of Frito-Lay's fleet and will be located at 50 percent of production locations.
