The natural gas and alternative fuel industry is gaining momentum within the Mexican energy market, with extremely favorable prospects for the short and medium term. All these challenges and advances of the sector will be addressed at AltFuels Mexico 2019, which will be held next week, on 11-14 March at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
The event will have conferences led by Mexican and global experts, who will debate on the country’s energy future. It will also have an exhibition floor where attendees can learn about the advances in alternative fuels, as well as the new sustainable technologies in the transport sector.
The Exhibition will be open to the public and will take place on 12 & 13 March, at 1, 2 and 3 Mayan Halls in the WTC. The list of exhibitors includes leading automotive companies, as well as suppliers of components and alternative fuels from all around the world.
The Conferences will take place on 11, 12 & 13 March, with the presence of specialists, including businessmen, officials and figures from the energy industry, who will address the growing demand for clean fuels and the urgent need for sustainable mobility.
In addition, AltFuels Mexico will offer its attendees a unique experience and “bonus track” of the event: the Technical Tour. This special activity, which will take place on 14 March, will offer the opportunity to know first-hand Inerzi GNV’s facilities, a model dual fuel conversion center of more than 5,000 m2 and state-of-the-art technology, which will officially open on the technical tour’s day.
On the other hand, as happened last year, AltFuels Mexico will once again give as a prize to one of the event’s visitors a 0km car powered by natural gas. In this case, a 2019 Nissan CNG Urvan will be raffled. The 4-cylinder van was converted with Vikars technology, features TKF tanks, and is equipped with seats for public transport service. The raffle, to be held during the closing ceremony on 13 March, is supported by Corporativo Graz & Grass, Consorcio Graz Kubika, Concept, TK-Fujikin, VIKARS and Hamitech.
The event is hosted by the Mexican Association of Natural Gas Vehicles, CNG, LNG and Biogas (AMGNV), entity that during the 2018 edition of AltFuels Mexico presented its evolution and new board of directors and that in 2019 will present the progress of its first year of management
