Qatar has the world’s third largest natural gas reserve and is the world’s largest LNG exporter. As a result of this, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina has issued a statement that highlights the importance of promoting cooperation on NGV technologies: “In this field , there are opportunities for both countries to benefit from technological development and know-how, commercially or through investments.”
Timerman began in Qatar the Argentinean weeklong tour around the Arabian Peninsula along with Secretary of International Economic Relations, Carlos Bianco, and businessmen from the South American country.
During the meeting with the Minister of Economy and Trade of Qatar, Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, both ministers signed an agreement for the establishment of a Joint Ministerial Committee of Trade.
