The event was led by Fausto Maranca and Gregorio Kopyto, CAGNC president and general manager respectively, and Augusto García and Alejo Olivera, Fundación Innova-T president and trustee respectively. The meeting was also attended by Faustino Siñeriz, who is vice president of Technology Issues from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).
Fausto Maranca talked about the potential of CNG growth in the industry by incorporating technology, as well as the benefits it generates for the nation in terms of production costs. The conversion of diesel engines to CNG, the manufacture of natural gas engines and the innovation through the introduction of hydrogen were the most important subjects raised.
Apart from this, Innova-T offered its experience to articulate and translate the funding elements available through the entity’s Project Development Department. At the same time, it will be essential the contribution made by scientists in the field to advise CAGNC on the research and the introduction of new technologies.
