Therefore, by August, there were executed 101,459 CNG conversions in Argentina so far this year. If the pace of the activity continues like this, it is possible to reach, and even exceed, the 2005 total conversions, with over 148,000 NGVs.
It is important to mention that between 2003 and 2005, the most prolific period in the history of local NGV industry took place. The absolute record was hit in 2003, with a total of 285,252 conversions conducted during that year.
