Another example of how the business curve continues to rise is that the 2013 monthly average of conversions now exceeds 12,200 vehicles. The last time Argentina achieved an amount like that was in 2005, when the monthly average climbed to 12,360 units and 148,314 new users chose CNG over the whole year.
In light of these statistics, it is possible that the country will achieve and even surpass the annual mark recorded eight years ago.
To summarize, according to data provided by Enargas, these are the conversion numbers registered so far this year by month: January 10,612; February 8,554; March 11,097; April 12,195; May 14,843; June 12,968; and July 15,687 (this figure is still provisional since July records are uncompleted).
Moreover, the all-time conversions to CNG by July 2013 total over 2,280,000 vehicles, 467,000 of which were performed in the period 2010-2013.
