Télam news agency also reported that CNG consumption reached 233 million cubic meters in August, the highest peak reached all over the year. Currently, there are 1,959 natural gas refueling stations in the country, 22 of which have opened so far this year to meet the growing demand for the fuel.

Moreover, the all-time conversions to CNG accumulated by July 2013 total over 2.3 million vehicles, 482,730 of which were conducted in the period 2010-2013.
