It is worth recalling that Argentina has recently surpassed the mark of 2 million vehicles converted (historically accumulated until July 2011). In turn, over 40,000 vehicles have been switched to natural gas during the last three months. The highest peak occurred in August, with at least 14,210 conversions, according to statistics provided by the CNG Management of the National Gas Regulatory Agency (Enargas, as its Spanish acronym).
With the upcoming International Conference on NGV & Other Gaseous Fuels and V ExpoGNC 2011, which will take place from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th of November in “La Rural” trade fair site in the city of Buenos Aires, Fausto Maranca was optimistic about the world scenario that can contribute strategically to the local NGV sector, because of the fuel’s lower cost and it progressive future savings.
