Drivers also stated that this a safe technology since there are many controls nowadays. Furthermore, although it is not yet a local priority, many of them seemed to be already aware that natural gas is the most environmentally friendly fuel available in the country.
It is worth mentioning that motorists received with pleasure the informative text with “50 reasons for using CNG”. Many of them lowered their windows to take the brochures and some even spontaneously asked the promoters to give them a copy when they realized what it was all about.
The campaign clearly met the expected objectives: generate interest and get a good reception from people, report on less-known aspects about methane and, especially, “lay the foundations” to grow further conversions.
