Hernán Vega, general director of the EEC-GNV, commented on this achievement: “With this fact, we are fulfilling our duties with the country, contributing the change of the energy grid and managing with responsibility the resources from the Nationalization of Hydrocarbons’ plan.
What is more, the Cylinders Upgrading and Replacement Program conducted by the same public agency reached 110% of the targets, with 4,923 changes. The benefited are owners of private and public vehicles from the departments of Tarija, Sucre, La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, Oruro and Potosi.
It is remarkable that, form the start-up of this public agency on October 20, 2010, the free CNG conversions make a total of 81,676.
