The Fiat Punto Evo Natural Power, which saves 25 per cent CO2 and has low running costs of less than 4 Euros on 100 km, is one out of several ex-factory models offered by NGVA Europe Board member Fiat. With excellent riding qualities, it has 70 hp in CNG mode and is able to cover a distance of more than 300 km on this fuel.
There are already four CNG filling stations in Belgium, with the last one inaugurated last 17th February in Halle by DATS24, the Belgian refuelling network of the Colruyt Group that plans to open more pumps during this year. Moreover, Belgians being interested in the NGV technology can already rent CNG vehicles from Ecofillco in Anzegem, a firm that also provides a private refuelling station for their customers.
It is worth mentioning that German association Erdgas Mobil will be hosting upcoming NGV2011 Berlin, an event of NGVA Europe, with exhibition and five workshops addressing topics of utmost importance to the NGV industry.
