Drivers who want to switch to natural gas must reside in the Eje Cafetero, comprising multiple regions and municipalities such as the departments of Caldas, Risaralda and Quindío, part of Valle del Cauca and Tolima, Antioquia’s southwestern region.
It is not the first campaign launched by Efigas and its affiliated companies to encourage natural gas conversions. These incentives had been already granted in the region in a campaign unveiled in August 2012. This time, the advantages of using CNG-powered cars are also broadcasted in television spots that can be seen at www.efigas.com.co.
It is worth recalling that the next NGV industry meeting will take place in the Colombian city of Cartagena. NGV2013 Colombia –Latin America’s major International Conference and Exhibition on Natural Gas Vehicles in 2013- arrives at a promising time for the local market, which has a number of such initiatives already in progress seeking to consolidate the business expansion.
