So far this year, 58,712 vehicles have been converted to natural gas, and the average of monthly conversions is about 9,689 units. The total number of CNG conversions in Argentina involves 1,975,454 vehicles. Taking into account that the activity level remains increasing, the country is likely to reach the milestone of 2 million units in just a few months.
Moreover, this nation ranks first in the Latin America NGV conversion segment, followed by Brazil (1,676,158 conversions), Colombia (340,000), Bolivia (140,400) and Peru (112,484). It also retains the top position in the number of CNG refuelling stations in the region with 1,894 points of sale operational throughout 334 cities. Other countries that have a significant distribution network are Brazil (1,789 stations) and Colombia (634).
