“This unconventional fuel represents an important alternative because it is 60 percent cheaper than diesel and 80% cheaper than gasoline, contributing to save foreign currency in the country”, said the head of the MIC during the event organized by the Round Table of Commonwealth Countries in the Dominican Republic.
Del Castillo Saviñón asked people not to lose confidence in natural gas available in many countries, which will supply the global marketplace. Although the nation does not produce it like oil, natural gas has emerged as the cheaper and most efficient choice.
He revealed that the global tendency shows that natural gas prices will stabilize downward, as a result of the increased global supply.
