Sixteen of the 20 buses will have a length of 10.5 meters while the remaining four vehicles should be 40-feet long. SAD Liorbus informed the deadline for requesting documentation and participating in the bidding is mid-February.
Moreover, Fővárosi Gázművek Zrt. (Főgáz), Budapest gas distributor, has signed an agreement with Hungarian oil and gas company MOL to install the first CNG pump in the country’s largest city. The dispenser will be located at MOL’s petrol station in Kőbányai ut, and may be followed by installations at other MOL facilities, according to the gas distributor.
This project is part of Főgáz corporate strategy to increase awareness of environmentally friendly fuels that could contribute to cleaner air of Budapest, and thereby preserve the health of the people living there.
