Foton Motors Group of China has designed modern buses for Pakistan with specific features to meet cultural and demographic needs of the country and with a special interest in power environmentally friendly fueled buses.
Associated Press of Pakistan reported that the President of Pakistan appreciated the role of Foton Pak Bus Company in providing state of the art buses in the main cities of the country. He said that with increasing population in the cities, there was an urgent need for upgrading existing transport network in the mega cities which in turn offers great investment opportunities to the national and international investors.
It is worth mentioning that Foton Motors was awarded a contract for 111 CNG buses for Lahore city through Lahore Transport Company. These vehicles are expected to start operations in November this year.
