It was announced by the national manager of Gas and Pipeline networks from YPFB Corporation, Oscar Lopez, who added that their area seeks to promote a large number of CNG conversions until the supreme decree of Hydrocarbons and Energy Ministry starts working.
Since this year, Bolivian government has encouraged the CNG Conversion Program and the Upgrading and Replacement of cylinders Program, which runs through the Vehicle Conversion Fund managed by YPFB.
With the plan it is expected to switch 7.500 vehicles of public transportation which are now powered by liquid fuels.
