Galileo Technologies has welcomed Barry Carr as a senior member of its business development team to promote low-carbon, zero-carbon & carbon-negative mobility projects in the Northeast U.S.
Barry has spent his career spearheading the transportation industry’s change, working with major utilities and fleets to develop alternative fuel infrastructures based on natural gas, renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and DC fast charge systems.
For the last 15 years, he has volunteered as the Coordinator for Clean Communities of CNY (CC of CNY), the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Coalition hosted by Syracuse University. Currently, he serves on both the Federal and State Government Advocacy Committees for NGVAmerica and is the Northeast Gas Association’s Vice-Chair.
For his long-standing career, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from NGV America (2015), the Benjamin Watson Service Award (2014), and the Hall of Fame Award by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program (2017).
