During Expo Transporte ANPACT 2013, the official also explained that this project will take place in the northeastern region of the Mexican Republic and that one of its objectives is to establish mechanisms to facilitate the development of technologies that ensure the supply of natural gas at a competitive and stable price.
Guerra Abud also said that the transportation in Mexico is the fastest growing sector and the largest contributor to the emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG), so it is a priority of this Administration to evaluate cleaner alternatives to help meet the emission reduction goals and offer benefits for people’s health. In this regard, he stressed that CNG has a wide margin of competitiveness compared to conventional fuels.
