During a ceremony attended by the Minister of Defense, the Governor-General of Qazvin and a group of provincial officials, a large factory for the production of CNG tanks in Qazvin province was opened and put into operation. The facility has a production capacity of 250,000 tanks per year.
“In the year of the surge in production and with the full support of the Ministry of Defense and defense industry experts, an effort was made to launch and start this private sector industrial complex with a production capacity of 250,000 tanks per year and employing hundreds of young professionals,” said Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami.
“Wherever in the national industry, especially in the field of automobile manufacturing, the support of the Ministry of Defense is needed so that the various components of the country can break the barrier of sanctions, we will support with all of the armed forces industry’s might,” he added.
Obtaining the national standard mark and all national and international certificates indicates the high level of production quality of the tank factory.
