On Tuesday 8 from 18.00 to 20.00 and yesterday and today from 11.00 to 18.00, all visitors have the opportunity to approach and trial the most recent NGVs of the market at the Expo’s outdoor area. Different vehicle manufacturers are providing their units to carry on this activity, among them Audi, Fiat, Škoda, Seat, Volkswagen, Iveco, The Hardstaff Group/Mercedes-Benz and Volvo.
Visitors has been enthusiastically involved with the activity and discovered more information about these clean fuel alternatives. They appreciated the opportunity to see the units on site, drive them or take part in demonstrations, which would make easier the future decision to acquire a natural gas based vehicle.
The track is 2 km long, with its starting – arriving area next to the NGV2014 Brussels Exhibition Hall.
The LNG Truck Demo Drive has been a unique chance for fleet owners who, by the way, have been able to attend the Workshops for free. In addition, for the first time in Belgium, there is an LNG truck mobile station in operation, refueling the trucks on site. The service is powered by HAM / GDF Suez LNG Solutions.
