In Mexico City and the metropolitan area, GAZO technology has been specifically adapted to a height of 2,400 meters above sea level. “The fifth generation kits being marketed under our brand have successfully passed all tests and shown perfect performance on such altitude conditions. The vehicle’s power and performance remain the same than when it runs on gasoline,” told GAZO business manager Rolando Madrazo Martín to NGVJournal.
Regarding fueling sites, the executive said: “We have installed the first residential-type station with natural gas compressor for a private company in the state of Queretaro. It will be an option for all those companies that operate fleets powered by this fuel and are strategically located over the pipeline.”
