The head of Mobility Solutions Gas Natural Services, José Ramón Freire, is the first president of Gasnam, which has two vice chairs, occupied by Ros Roca Indox, in the road sector, and Cotenaval, in the maritime sector. The entity also includes Balearia, Urbaser, Disfrimur, Iveco, Wärtsilä, Bureau Veritas and HAM.
Gasnam represents the culmination of the efforts of suppliers, large users, operators and technological institutions in order to encourage the use of compressed and liquefied natural gas-powered as an efficient and clean energy for transportation.
The new association also aims to boost a climate of opinion in government agencies, in potentially business users and in public opinion favorable to the use of natural gas as a transportation fuel which can be profitable and environmentally sustainable.
