The whole event covered a total area of 7,000 sq/m conformed by the expo pavilion, the outdoor area, and the Palais am Funkturm, where the workshops took place.
There was an atmosphere of business round NGV2011 Berlin venue, in which executives managed to identify the emergence of non-conventional markets, where heavy-duty transportation would play a significant role in the short term. By conducting multiple ad hoc activities, the event was the appropriate context for the associations and sponsors to mobilize their human and organizational resources.
As regards complementary activities, 258 participants attended the successful special evening at Meilenwerk. They had the unique occasion to experience a guided tour of the huge vehicle collection of the famous venue, before enjoying drinks, music and a dinner. Besides that, 32 people took part of the technical held on June 6th; they were guided across the facilities of the Berlin’s waste management company (BSR) and a multi-fuel filling station managed by TOTAL.
Now, the attention is shifting from Berlin to Buenos Aires, where NGV industry leaders will meet between 10 and 12 November. The International NGV & Gaseous Fuels Conference and the V ExpoGNC 2011 will be held under the theme “Towards economical and sustainable transportation” at La Rural trade fair site in the capital of Argentina.
