During the same ceremony, German scientist Dieter Patry was given recognition for being the RMO creator, while Governor Victor Hugo Pereira received a special mention for making possible the implementation of this project. Officials and representatives from different organizations that encourage pollutant fuels replacement also took part of the event. The plant processes organic waste and converts it into biogas.
According to data published by the ABC Digital news website, Orlando Arfeli, representative of Argentina-based ABA Gas, presented natural gas powered cars. This company is involved with Enerpy’s project, whose objective is the introduction of this alternative fuel into the transportation propulsion system across the country.
It is important to remember that the last mentioned company seeks to introduce the first biomethane-driven buses in the city of Asuncion, as part of the so-called program “Domestic natural gas in movement.”
