“We have reached 100,000 cars converted to CNG in five years, a figure really important if we compare it with other countries where this system took much longer to reach this number,” said CPGNV’s general manager Jorge Juárez Eyzaguirre.
CPGNV delivered five-year technical certificates to converted vehicles number 100,000 and 100,001, both Kia, which also were awarded with 600 m3 of CNG each by the companies PGN and Primax. In turn, workshops GNV Technology SAC and SR GAS SAC, who made the conversions, awarded the cars with the cost of the equipment installed.
The ceremony was attended by the highest authorities of the CPGNV, as well as the industry’s leading companies, such as natural gas distributor Cálidda, PGN, Primax and NEOgás.
