Regarding CNG stations, there are 126 facilities in operation and 25 under construction. “It is expected that there will be 140 dispensing points supplying compressed natural by the end of the year in Lima and Callao,” he added.
Currently, the ratio of vehicles converted to CNG stations is 750 to one. This enables prompt attention to users and the elimination of queuing for filling their vehicles. “In addition, both the acquisition and conversion of public transport buses to CNG has increased nowadays”, CPGNV reported.
On the other hand, new vehicles converted to natural gas and offered directly by the dealers keeps on a major boost, especially with Toyota’s entry to the market.
