Medellin carriers will test the Peruvian experience, which plans to use 600 CNG buses to run from Comas to Chorrillos districts. Then, they will decide about the importation of 64 buses (four of them articulated) that will run on the city since March next year.
As reported in the newspaper El tiempo, the president of the Bureau of Transportation, Efraín Galeano, and other local union representatives will head the commission to travel to Lima for a technical evaluation of the integrated public transport system, its operator and Peruvian buses sellers.
In addition, they will discuss about the differences in the relief of both cities, that could diversify the operation of the buses.
